This contest (the Contest) is sponsored by The Whistler Brewing Company Ltd. (the “Sponsor”), of 1505 West 2nd Avenue, Suite 302, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, V6H 3Y4
ELIGIBILITY
To enter and be eligible to win, an entrant must be an individual who is a legal resident of the Province of Ontario and must be at least 19 years of age or older. The Contest is not open to any employee of, or a member of the immediate family of, or to any person domiciled with an employee of, the Sponsor or any of the Sponsor’s advertising or promotional agencies, any participating stores or the prize suppliers. Employees and contractors of beer distribution agencies, The Liquor Control Board of Ontario (“LCBO”), the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (“AGCO”), any liquor licensees authorized by AGCO, their employees and members of the immediate families of the aforementioned or persons with whom they are domiciled are not eligible. THE CONTEST IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW, and is subject to all applicable Federal, Provincial and Municipal laws.
HOW TO ENTER
NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY. To enter, visit the website www.whistlerbeer.com, click on the “Enter to Win” button, complete the online entry form in full and click on the “submit button”. When completed and submitted, the entry will be recorded automatically.

Only one (1) entry is allowed per household, regardless of the number of persons or email addresses at a given household. Before being declared a winner, the selected entrant must first correctly answer, unaided, a mathematical skill testing question. No more than one prize will be awarded to any one person, family or household. The Sponsor and its agents, representatives and those associated with them are not responsible for any entry, prize notification, Contest Entry Form requests or claims which fails to get entered, is lost, misdirected, illegible, or incomplete, which is undeliverable, or which arrives late, as the case may be, whether or not due to the fault of the Sponsor or of any other person and whether or not due to an interrupted or unavailable browser or network server or malfunction, congestion, incompatibility, misconnection or miscommunication, failed or lost computer transmissions, or if the Sponsor’s e-mail/website portal is compromised by viruses, bugs, unauthorized intervention, or for any other technical malfunction or traffic congestion on the Internet or the Sponsor’s website, or for damage to any entrant’s or any other person’s computer or for breaches of privacy due to interference by third party computer “hackers” (collectively, “Technical Problems”). The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the Contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor corrupt the security or proper administration of the Contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should an attempt be made to do so, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
ENTRY DEADLINE
The Contest begins on Sunday November 8th, 2009 (00:00:01, EST) and ends on Saturday, November 28th, 2009 (23:59:59, EST). No entry may be submitted after the end of the Contest and no entry received by the Sponsor after that time will be valid.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY
NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY IN ORDER TO ENTER THE CONTEST OR BECOME ELIGIBLE TO WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR ODDS OF WINNING.
PRIZES
The prize in the Contest consists of one (1) Grand Prize for two (2) people consisting of three (3) days and two (2) nights accommodation at The Fairmont Chateau Whistler in Whistler, BC; a Fairmont Spa Retreat Package; Return economy airfare from Pearson International Airport in Ontario to Vancouver International Airport, British Columbia; and $500.00 spending money. Total Approximate retail value of the Grand Prize is $3500.00.
All income and other taxes relating to the prize are the sole responsibilities of the winner. Prizes must be accepted by the winner as awarded, and are not transferable. No cash value will be given for a prize and no substitutions will be made for a prize (and without limiting the foregoing, prizes may not be sold or traded). In the event of the unavailability of all or any component or portion of the prize, the Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize, or a component or portion of the prize, of equal or greater value. All transportation to and from Pearson International Airport in Ontario and to and from Vancouver International Airport and Whistler, British Columbia, any additional hotel accommodations, gratuities, insurance, beverages, additional meals and items of a personal nature are the responsibility of the selected entrant(s). Prize arrangements will be made directly with the winner and the prize must be accepted as awarded on an “as is” basis and is non-transferable and will be booked on a space available basis. There will be no cash or other substitution for the prize except at the option of Whistler Brewing Company Ltd., in the event of unavailability. From the date of notification, the entrant(s) will have until Friday, April 30th, 2010 to claim their prize at which point it will become null and void. A holiday blackout period for the Grand prize will apply and will be in effect as follows: for the period beginning Friday, December 18th, 2009 (00:00:01, PST) through to Monday, January 4th, 2010. (23:59:59, PST); and for the period beginning Monday February 1st, 2010 (00:00:01, PST) through to February 28th, 2010 (23:59:59, PST).
METHOD OF SELECTION
A random selection to determine one (1) potential grand prize winner will be made by the Sponsor (either by one of its employees or, at its option, by an independent judging organization) in Vancouver, British Columbia, on Friday, December 4th, 2009 at approximately 2:00 p.m. (PST), from among all eligible entries received. The method of selection may, at the Sponsor’s discretion, be through a computer-generated selection from an electronic database containing all of the eligible entries, or in such other manner as the Sponsor reasonably determines such that all eligible entries will have an equal chance of being selected. The person conducting the random selection will act as judge and their decisions as to eligibility and the selection process to be employed will be final. The entrant whose entry is so selected must, in order to become the winner, correctly answer, unaided, a mathematical skill-testing question unassisted by mechanical means or otherwise. The entrant must complete, sign and return a Standard Declaration and Indemnity Release form described below, and comply with all of the other Contest rules. If they fail to do so then another random selection of a potential winner will be conducted, and this process will be repeated until a winner is declared. The skill-testing question will be administered by mail.
ODDS
The odds of being selected as a potential winner will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received prior to the close of the Contest.
DECLARATION AND RELEASE
The method of selection may, at the Sponsor’s discretion, be through a computer-generated selection from an electronic database containing all of the eligible entries, or in such other manner as the Sponsor reasonably determines such that all eligible entries will have an equal chance of being selected under which the selected entrant:
(a) represents and warrants that he or she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry, was the person who submitted the selected entry, was eligible to enter the Contest and has complied with all of the Contest rules;
(b) releases the Sponsor and all of its subsidiary and affiliated companies, The Liquor Control Board of Ontario (“LCBO”) and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from all liability (including property damage and personal injury) of any kind in connection with the Contest, or occurring as a result of the prize being awarded or any travel related thereto;
(c) confirms their acceptance of the prize as awarded; and
(d) agrees to the use, without compensation, of their name, photograph, filmed or recorded image, name and city of residence in all publicity campaigns related to the contest, including on the Sponsor’s website.
COMPLIANCE WITH RULES
Failure to comply with any of the Contest rules will result in disqualification. Persons tampering with or abusing any entry mechanisms or policies will be disqualified
GENERAL
All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Entries will be rejected if not fully completed. The Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate this Contest and will have no liability whatsoever if for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as planned, due to Technical Problems or for other reasons beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor.
LCBO / AGCO DISCLAIMER
The Liquor Control Board of Ontario (“LCBO”) and the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (“AGCO”) are not connected with this Contest in any manner whatsoever and are not liable in any way whatsoever in regard to any matter which relates to or arises from the Contest.

We respect your privacy. All information collected is for Contest and research purposes only unless otherwise specified and will remain the property of the Sponsor. No e-mail addresses or personal information collected will be shared, in any way, with any other parties.
